CAROLS, CANDLES AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS AT DURBANVILLE HILLS
Posted on 24. Nov, 2011 by BottlePlatePillow in 4) General News, Durbanville Hills, Wine Events
Join Durbanville Hills Wines as we celebrate the festive season under the stars with a Christmas market and a performance of traditional and contemporary Christmas favourites by local musicians Jacus Hattingh and Tania Olivier accompanied by a 5-piece band.
Avoid over-crowded shops during the Christmas rush and purchase your gifts at the night market. Hand-made artisan products such as toys, baked goods, Christmas decorations and jewellery will be available.
Proceeds of the evening are in aid of the Môresterretjies Crèche, a day-care centre established by community groups including the Durbanville Hills Share Purchase Trust. The Trust is a social investment initiative aimed at improving the quality of life of employees and children on the surrounding farms.
Durbanville Hills’ wines, as well as soft drinks and hot chocolate will be on sale (no other alcoholic beverages are permitted.)
Chairs are not allowed and guests are advised to bring a blanket and picnic basket along.
Date: Friday, December 9, 2011
Time: Gates open at 18h00, show starts at 19h00
