KWV is proud to introduce a pair of delectable new blends from its Lifestyle Range – the first ever blends from this range to be made available to the South African market. From May 2010. KWV Chenin Blanc/Chardonnay and KWV Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon will be available in leading liquor retailers, and promise to deliver the dependable quality that you have come to expect from the KWV wines. “With the addition of these two new wines, we are confident that we have perfected our Lifestyle range for our consumers to enjoy,” says Uschi van Zweel, Category Manager Wine Southern Africa at KWV.

Hailing from the Western Cape, KWV Chenin Blanc/Chardonnay 2009 is persistently fruity, medium-bodied and well balanced. An abundance of tropical fruit lingers on the palate. The wine is soft and generous with a fresh, lingering finish. Perfect for everyday drinking, on its own or with light meals such as salads or white meat dishes.

You know no longer need to worry how to satisfy the taste buds of all your guests, as you can partner the KWV white blend with a lively KWV red blend – ensuring happy guests all round. The KWV Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium-bodied, easy drinking red wine. It has ripe fruit aromas and flavours with hints of vanilla and spice, and a soft, smooth finish, and is a trustworthy companion to roast meat or pasta dishes. “Both of these options will serve you faithfully”, says van Zweel. “Whether you prefer our fruit and off-dry white blend, or the fruit driven red blend with its light tannins, the KWV range has a wine to satisfy everyone, any where, any time.”
