Make the most of the start of 2011 by heading out to Laborie Wine Farm, in the heart of the Winelands, for their inaugural farmers market which will be known as the Laborie Lazy Days Market. The first market for the year will take place on Saturday, 5 February from 09h00 until 13h00, and will run every Saturday thereafter, come rain or shine.
Situated in the heart of Paarl, and surrounded by the majestic Drakenstein Mountains, with the Paarl Mountain as its backdrop, Laborie is regarded as one of the precious jewels in the Cape Winelands District. Laborie’s immaculate and sprawling gardens make up the perfect setting for visitors to relax and unwind with family and friends after wandering through the market.
Visitors to the market can expect an array of carefully selected lifestyle products, with the primary focus on food and a handful of arts and craft stalls. Food stalls range from freshly baked breads, coffee, cheese, olives, honey, charcuterie and other exciting fresh local produce exhibitors.
