Known for producing organic wines with a unique style… extremely smooth with soft ripe tannins and robust fynbos characteristic.
We also produce fine
organic olive products. Our vineyards and olive groves are situated just off the R46 road between Tulbagh and Ceres, Western Cape.
As you enter Waverley Hills you will drive past rolling organic vineyards and olive groves – you might also be greeted by our white ducks who help to keep the snails away. At the cellar enjoy tasting our wine and olive products in the tasting room or dine in our newly extended restaurant which boasts panoramic views of the valley. We also cater for all occasions from weddings to business conferences. Our fynbos nursery brings the Cape Floral Kingdom to your doorstep and you can explore more of these beautiful plants on our hiking or biking trails.
The Cape floral kingdom is renowned for its diversity and this is a opportunity to explore if for yourself. The trail gradually leads up the kloof behind the cellar and through a lovely wild olive forest. The trail then winds along the annual water stream. After crossing the last bridge the trail leaves the river vegetation and you will make your way up to the lookout point where you will have an extraordinary view of the valley.
The hiking trail is well marked and is 1.2km in distance.
Mountain Biking – The Cape Epic route in March 2010 went via Waverley Hills. Come and test your skills. No charge.
