Jason’s Hill Private Cellar is situated in the heart of the picturesque Slanghoek Valley where fertile soils, a moderate climate and plenty of rain produce grapes of the finest quality. With these hand-picked grapes winemaker, Ivy du Toit, create wines that speak of sophistication, elegance, and sincerity. As first ever winner of the Woman Winemaker of the Year Award in 2004 and Diner’s Club Young Winemaker of the Year 2003 it was no surprise when Ivy walked away with four Michelangelo Awards and numerous other awards to add to her collection last year. During a visit to the estate Ivy’s award-winning wines can be tasted in the elegant tasting room, enjoyed with a hearty lunch at Bistro@Jason’s or a picnic on the lawn. The 6.5km hiking trail with magnificent views on the surrounding valley, Health and wellness clinic with rejuvenating treatments for those wishing to escape the city life, and a cottage style farm store are all the more reasons to visit Jason’s Hill.
