Waverley Hills

The Cape floral kingdom is renowned for its diversity and this is a opportunity to explore if for yourself. The trail gradually leads up the kloof behind the cellar and through a lovely wild olive forest. The trail then winds along the annual water stream. After crossing the last bridge the trail leaves the river vegetation and you will make your way up to the lookout point where you will have an extraordinary view of the valley.

The hiking trail is well marked and is 1.2km in distance.

Waverley Hills is proud to have won the Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices category award at the 2012 Best of Wine Tourism Awards. This is a fantastic achievement as it’s the second consecutive year that Waverley Hills has won this award, showing continued commitment towards sustainability.

The awards ceremony lunch took place at La Motte on the 22^nd of November 2011 where Johan Delport, Cellar Manager and Kobus du Toit, Director received the award from Alderman Neels De Bruyn, Executive Mayor of the Cape Winelands District Municipality.
