Description

A unique opportunity to taste the first of the 2010 vintage across the route - unfiltered and straight from the tank in the middle of harvest time - the event pairs the wines with creative adaptations of the traditional onion tart; along with other unusual gourmet offerings.

Children can enjoy:

pony rides
slip-n-slides
tractor and trailer rides

Traditional harvest activities, such as:

cellar tours
fermentation demonstrations
grape tastings of cultivars
cooking demonstrations
Grape Stomping & Picking
Picnic Lunches
Live Music
Farmers Market

The young at heart can zip around the Paarl Rock in a Cessna or Helicopter; or chill to the tunes of the live bands.

Tickets can be purchased at your first port of call on the day. All visitors (18 years and older) need to purchase their access pass at their first port of call at R50.00 per person. Visitors will receive a stylish Tasting Glass, access pass and programme. Tasting of the 2010 young wine is for free. You will need to present your access pass and glass in order to take part in the free events or taste wine.
