We will be tasting the following:
• Barrel differences – the effect barrels (Coopers) have on wines from the same vineyard
• Vineyard differences – the effects of wine from different vineyards using the same barrel
• Harvest differences – the effects of an early and late harvest from the same vineyard using the same barrel
• Cultivar differences – difference between different cultivars from barrel made by the same cooper
• Oak differences – the effect of new and older oak barrels (2nd & 3rd fill) on the wines taste
On The Menu:
Hot and Cold Canapes Served on arrival:
• Risotto Balls with Wild Mushroom and Blue Cheese with Fresh Basil Pesto
• Horseradish Pancake with Smoked Trout and Dill Cream
• Cherry Tomato and Bocconcini Tartlets
• Duck and Mango Spring Rolls served with Hoisin Sauce
