WHITE WINTER PIANO AND POETRY EVENINGS AT KNORHOEK’s TOWERBOSCH
Top pianists enchant the senses with melodic art, food and wine. Knorhoek Estate, one of the best kept Winelands secrets outside Stellenbosch, tunes the senses into life’s finer indulgences with an exclusive White Winter Piano and Poetry performance enriched with soulful food and wine on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 August.
Hosted for two nights only, the estate’s whimsical earth kitchen, Towerbosch, will be transformed into a musical landscape when renowned jazz pianist, international performer and composer, Melissa van der Spuy and Lara Kirsten, classical pianist and performing poet, will share words and musical wisdom inspired by the season.
Together they combine poetry with movement, visual art and music to intertwine intriguing facets of the colour white and winter.
These intimate performances are accompanied by a three course indulgence of old fashioned culinary bliss prepared by chef duo Carmen van der Merwe and Westley Müller, who will add their magic to this memorable evening, guaranteed to hit all the right notes.
The White Winter Piano and Poetry show costs R225 per person, which includes a complimentary glass of estate wine on arrival and a nostalgic culinary feast.
Bookings are essential as seating is limited. To reserve your seat contact Lize Beukes at Towerbosch Restaurant on (021) 865 2958 or send an email to towerbosch@knorhoek.co.za.
